Inner tranquillity is an elusive state of mind.
We live in a busy world full of millions of choices.
We live in a busy world full of millions of choices.
Yet, we all have the Right to Inner Tranquillity.
This is an individual-based right
as compared to the Right to Peace which refers to groups of people.
Each person may or may not strive for inner peace.
While others may violate our right to inner tranquillity,
it is up to each of us, individually,
to re-gain it and provide it for ourselves, if so desired.
It comes from within.
As with all Rights for a Right-full Life,
this right is a choice,
and it is in the act of declaration
that one finds the power.
Declaring contains a break from the past.
It allows for change.
Inner tranquillity opens your life to your destined path.
Some natural methods to achieve inner tranquillity
include meditation, listening to music, bathing, massage, reading,
dancing, swimming, a cup of tea, the company of a pet, writing in a journal,
going to the beach, diaphragmatic breathing, yoga, running, walking in nature,
praying, singing in a church choir, singing with a guitar,
laying in bed with your children, being in silence, and aromatherapy.
Making ethical choices and promoting goodwill help one find inner tranquillity.
Inner tranquillity provides care for the body.
How do you find inner tranquillity?
The Right to Inner Tranquillity is supported by the Right to Body Care
and the Right to Ethical and Voluntary Choice.

We all need tranquility in our life some way or another. The ways I find inner tranquility is by going to the beach on a nice cool day, and just look at the ocean watching the waves form and break; feeling the nice cool air against my face while the suns beams are keeping me warm. Also writing in a book everything I feel helps I let out all the troubles in side of me. We all have our ways and it has to be respected. Cd884
Inner tranquility, is what keeps us sane. Even the most irrational man, can find sanity, if he is mentally capable to stop, find inner peace and realize what is going on. Inner tranquility is something many people have lost, because the need to progress in our economy and make money has become a strong motivator of the human race.

My Neighbors violate my rights with there loud screaming and there obnoxious kids, but they have a right to do so in there own home. I do have a right to inner tranquility but sometimes it is being violated subconsciously by others and with no malice. If it was a law, I would press charges on my Neighbors immediately!,lol.

I support this right and support for everyone to take advantage of it. With the stress people live in, it's good to take a couple minutes of of the day to find peace within oneself and relax and regain energy. I enjoy exercising. It takes my mind off of everything that has occurred during the day and I can concentrate on how my body works and what it is capable of doing. Reading a good book with a cup of tea and my dog next to me is also a method I use to find inner tranquility. I agree with the second commenter, many people lose the sight of tranquility because everyone runs around trying to get things done, it's important to stop and find tranquility.

I agree with the right to inner tranquility. Personally, I find that when I read I am much more clam after words. When I work my mind and my imagination I can find my inner tranquility. Swimming also helps when I feel I need to find my inner tranquility.

I find inner tranquility by doing the things I like to do. The white noise and instant gratification of mowing the lawn, kayaking on Biscayne Bay, working in the free clinic, seeing a smile on a person that I have helped, calling my daughter to say hello. going mudding, repairing the jeep after mudding, looking on Sky of Stars for the next topic and reading the various responses that challenge the way I think, causing me to spend time researching and evaluating... then crafting an answer that is ME . Coming home after a long hard day and realizing I have choices in my search for inner tranquility. That is how I find it. CTK
I dont believe in "The Right for inner tranquillity". Inner tranquillity is just that, "INNER" tranquillity you have to find your own peace of mind no matter whats going on around you, but it comes from within you. -J.D.
"The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good. Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom." I support the right to Inner Tranquility 100%. There is nothing better in this life then to have inner tranquility. Going to bed with a fresh mind and not waking up with a headache or worries. I find inner tranquility by drinking a calm tea with three honeys from Starbucks, and reading a good book that transport me to another world. I also enjoy working out and letting all my adrenaline get out of my system. In addition I enjoy seating on the couch drinking some good wine watching a romantic movie with my fiancé and eating sushi. Last but not least I find inner tranquility going to my Saturday belly dance classes.

I find my inner tranquility in calming and quiet baths or running alone. I have two toddlers which make doing any of this in a quiet environment nearly impossible. But one must take the time to find their inner tranquility to open the paths they are destined for in life. JENS
For many individuals inner tranquility is a choice. There are many methods of which some you covered. Inorder for me to find inner tranquility I tend to dance. It is my way of relaxation. But there is always two sides to every story. There are some people that don't have that power of choice to choose inner tranquility. Those with mental disorders don't tend to have that choice. So its hard to say whether I am 100% to this right or not.

I support the right to Inner Tranquillity. I believe the success to inner tranquillity is thinking positive. If you can understand the concept that things can always be worse, then you may have inner tranquillity. I remember the Russian proverb, “I cried because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet.” I am personally always happy with life because it is too short not to accept reality. Example if someone shows me the finger while driving, I do not retaliate, I just feel sorry for their family has to live with them. My motto I live by is doing good and good will follow you, which will give you inner tranquillity. RR.
This right is very important especially in the world that we live today. Most of us are busy in our personal lives ,therefore, finding that time to give yourself this right is priceless. NOBRA
Everyone in this life has to have "The right to inner Tranquillity." Especially when it comes to privacy between people. As said by my classmate that most of his nabbers don't give him the pace that he deserves at his house, this person is not having his comfort even in his house. If not where can he has it?
We all have to understand that everyone wants to have some quietness at some certain time.

The right to inner tranquility is very important because being able to relax, to be stress-free, benefits the person's life. Having inner tranquility brings about a long and healthier life. A way that I find inner tranquility is through active relaxation techniques, like diaphragmatic breathing which is extremely helpful especially when I am under stress. GIM
Inner tranquility can be found in various ways by different people. This right is supported by me because everybody should have a relaxing time, a time for themselves. I find Inner Tranquility when I lay down in bed with my son and daughter next to me, I feel as if I was in heaven. CMP
I support the right to inner tranquility. In our day to day busy lifestyle we often forget to stop and find a moment of peace. The way I find my inner tranquility is going outdoors for a nice walk, feeling the wind blow in my face, and looking at all the trees and plants around me. It is my personal time, my moment of tranqulity, and my time to find my inner peace.
KP
I am always, searching for Inner Tranquillity. I believe, that when you have that Inner Tranquillity, everything in life just falls into place. The Right to Inner Tranquillity, is a most in my book. Eventhough, at times it seems like it is impossible to find, we most find our own way, to gain our Inner Tranquillity.

The right to Inner Tranquility -
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, says: "Inner peace (or peace of mind) is a colloquialism that refers to a state of being mentally or spiritually at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress. Being "at peace" is considered by many to be healthy and the opposite of being stressed or anxious."
WordWeb Online defines this term as: "The absence of mental stress or anxiety".
Inner tranquility is very important in overcoming and preventing stress and anxiety. It is actually the antidote for stress and anxiety. Making the mind quiet and calm prevents anxieties, worries, stress and fears, and awakens inner strength and confidence.
HM
Tranquility is definitely a good habit to form in life. I find my inner tranquility when I spend quality time with my family, spiritual time in church, singing in the church choir, watching movies on television, reading a book or just relaxing in the pit of my husband's arms. Everyone should take time out to have a few moments of tranquility. RhW
I believe that our society has destroyed our right to inner tranquillity. I find a few hours of peace by praying, going to church, and helping people in need. But, the moment I walk into my job all my inner peace is gone.

With all the chaotic things in my life, I try to keep sane, but with life comes stress, and I try to find peace and tranquility by being able to read a good, or my bible, or by even having alone time with a good cup of coffee or listening to good music. Although with my crazy life style one day I would love to build my own dance studio and just dance. That relives any stress and makes me feel free. AFF
I find my inner tranquility through distance running. When it's just me and the road, the locomotion of my feet touching the pavement is a perfect solution to my daily stress. We all seek some inner peace regardless of what outer persona we embellish. JS
I believe in the right to inner tranquility. A state of inner peace
eliminates anxieties, fears and worries, negative thoughts, stress, lack of satisfaction and unhappiness. Working full time and being a full time student living at home with five younger siblings I cherish my inner tranquility and refer to it as my "me time". I take different types of yoga classes some that focus more on meditation than others, take candle lit baths, and hit the pavement for a long run to clear my mind of daily stresses. I think that inner tranquility helps to keep my mind focused and clear. -KKP
Inner tranquility can be found in the most stressful of times, it's like taking a deep breath and making everything go away for only a moment. I believe the right to solitude goes hand in hand with the right to inner tranquility. It's just a minute of peace and calm that each of us needs at some point in time not to lose our minds. I find inner tranquility by going out for a jog late in the afternoon when I have the time, or simply by putting on my Ipod.
- DBM
I believe everyone should practice this right. It helps keep a person mentally and physically healthy. People wouldn't be as aggresive if they just sat down or relaxed and thought about their actions before doing.-NR
I agree with this right. Everyone deserves the chance to look for that peace of mind that can make a difference in their life. When people find that inner tranquility, everything seen to be easier, not matter what. I find mine listening to instrumental music and praying.

I absolutely agree with the right to tranquility. I think at some point in our lives we need a break from our hectic schedules and from the things that stress us. Otherwise we would push ourselves into insanity. It is always good to find that place where you can have peace of mind; especially in the U.S, where the main priority has become to make money no matter the cost.

Inner tranquility is something that everyone needs. Its a way of relaxing and taking time for yourself to do the things you enjoy. I find inner tranquility when I lay down in bed listening to music after a long stressful day. That's is the best part of the day for me.cjj
Inner tranquility is something everyone must have in his or her life. The way I relax is having a conversation with my husband about our lives, like what is happening in our jobs, how our daughter is doing in an university far away from us, and how our ten-year old son doing in school. Then, planning the actions we should take in order to correct some things that need to be attended to. I agree with the right to Inner tranquility because it is something only you can feel and show to others and nobody can take from you. GLT
Life seems to speed up everyday, people are stressed now more than ever and we should all take time to practice inner tranquility to balance our lives. I practice inner tranquility when I am by myself. I love going to the beach at night to feel the sound of the waves and the breeze. It feel peace and tranquility in an instant. Reading inspiring books when I feel lost or confused also helps me connect with my inner-self. ME
I support The Right to Inner Tranquillity.I believe we all need tranquillity in our lives to relax and refresh ourselves.I find tranquillity in relaxing at the beach even my backyard on a beautiful day reading a book simple things like that.JP
The most effective way for me to find inner tranquility is to meditate. It is hard to set some time for yourself in order to have calm surroundings but it helps you to focus and compose yourself again. Listening to music and lighting candles are another way that I find peace and set the tone for a soothing place. DS
Rain is a very comforting sound for me, it's very busy and loud and cause all other distractions to disappear making it easier to focus on one at a time. On another note, I think there must be a balance to one's life, and that once in a while, relaxing and letting go of all your stressful thoughts can really help you make better decisions and have a better lifestyle.

I personally find inner tranquility during excercise and time spent with family and loved ones. They both differ greatly in feeling though. At the gym, I'm to myself, I focused on a goal and I enter another level. With family I find another kind of peace, more along the lines of comfort. With my significant other, I would find another feeling of tranquility and comfort. It's hard to explain, but I'm sure most would understand. Cbereng
Life can be stressful most of the times. I believe in if one doesn’t find inner tranquility stress will worsen. I think everyone should practice this right. My inner tranquility is going to the park and reading a book or taking a bubble bath. Sometimes tranquility can even be hanging out with your love ones. Sometimes watching the people you love laugh and smile can be the best tranquility. Everyone should practice this we would have less angry people in this world.

Inner tranquility is important for people to find and have, because the world that we live in today is so stressful and busy, that the only way to get away from all the mayhem is to be at peace with your inner being. Inner tranquility or just tranquility in general is needed just to be able to keep going and push through the hard situations.
-RBM
Inner tranquility is indeed an elusive state of mind for various reasons. I believe that inner tranquility requires a state of nothingness. To achieve inner tranquility one must clear one’s mind of any negative thought, worry, or care. In today’s world it is impossible to be in such a state all the time since to function appropriately in society one must think, worry, and care. The mentioned techniques to reach inner tranquility a heighten relaxation and are good ways to achieve inner tranquility. Listening to my music lulls me into that clear and relaxed state which could be considered inner tranquility.

Inner tranquility is something we should all have but very few seem to achieve. I do believe in the right to inner tranquility. I think we should all try to reach it one way or another. The only problem with reaching inner tranquility is that many people do not know how to reach it or are too busy to even try. If everyone could just stop for one day and try some form of reaching inner tranquility I think they would.

A little inner tranquility can make a big difference in the way someone treats others. If you’re at peace with yourself you will reflect that on to others. As individuals we should strive to find inner tranquility because it is good for our mental well-being. It’s like getting sleep, we need to rest our inner self by doing things that we enjoy and relax us. Although it is important we can also choose not to seek it so this is a right by choice.

I have found the natural ways are the most effective and fastest ways to achieve inner tranquility. My personal favorites are bathing and exercising. Spinning class always gives me an endorphin high and leaves me feeling refreshed and better about my day another natural way I feel good and achieve inner tranquility is while tanning.

One of the ways I find inner tranquility is by praying, in a silent room away from the noise of the world. Another way is by singing songs and playing my guitar. It is relaxing to have a little "me" time... And put worries to side for a second. Keep stress levels down, it's healthy.

Inner Tranquility makes us sane. We must indulge to our inner needs for sanity and humanity. Just to sit back and listen to the ocean roar, watching a great movie or just peaceful silence is what we have to do for ourselves as human beings. In doing so, we are releasing inner stress and producing relaxation.

In our hectic and busy lives, people sometimes dont find the time to find inner tranquility. With my crazy work and school schedule it is easy to get overwhelmed. I find my inner tranquility when I go to gym, spend some time in the sauna, reading a book, and taking a bath then enjoying a movie in the comfort of my bed.
~TP~
I totally agree with “The Right to inner Tranquility”. In this crazy world we, as human beings should take some time for our inner self. In my case, for example I love to drink a glass a wine while seating outside my house next to the garden to watch the starts and think about me, think about my purpose in life. My philosophical approach is that once you find your inner tranquility, there is nobody who can bring you down, degrade you or torment your state of mind.

Respecting the right to tranquility is extremely important. Being able to find inner peace is what keeps you from going over the edge. Inner tranquility is not always easy to find. With so many distractions in our world, it is easy to get caught up with our problems, troubles, and worries (especially with this economy).
Inner tranquility should be, and probably is, a necessity for most people. It calms and clears the mind. Everyone needs a clear mind at sometime of their life. The world is in constant motion, achieving this state of mind helps "break from the past" and bring change. Meditation is a perfect way to achieve this state. I practice meditation myself, and it never fails me. I recommend this practice to EVERYONE. Do not just preach for change and peace; Be the change and peace.

I believe that detaching oneself from daily stress factors is essential for both our mental and physical health. Most of us generally go from one activity to another with no rest period in between; keeping the mind in active mode even when our physical body is not in motion. One of the ways in which I find inner tranquility is by meditation, focusing on my breathing and slowly weeding out man created noise. It never ceases to amaze me how soothing nature’s “language” is. The flapping of a bird’s wings, the rustle of branches swaying in the breeze or the sound of a woodpecker can be very comforting. In my opinion, whether it’s by meditation, listening to soothing music while soaking in the tub or going out for a run, taking time out to achieve inner tranquility is an indispensable Right for a Right-full Life. VMR
This is a great right because it specifies an important part of our lives: our ability to calm ourselves. Without this we'd never see the world with fresh eyes, instead everything would be colored by powerful emotion.

I have not yet found inner tranquility due to my surroundings. My job is extremely hectic and my house is very noisy. I wish I could find some type of tranquility I’ve tried many different things but nothing seems to work for me. This seems like a right that can be so easily violated. SG.
The right to inner tranquility is one of full choice and creativity. The human being without tranquility is a ticking timebomb. Thus we specialize in finding methods to become at ease. In my case music and animals is my therapy. Not neccesarily does tranquility have to mean within the body it could also be with the mind. A guilty concience can kill any man. Therefore a simple confession could bring inner peace to a crowded mind. Inner tranquility is overall freedom from stress, life, aches, and problems, both body and soul...mlv...
In a society that is jammed packed with work and stress I find my inner tranquility by spending time with my family. Whether it’s playing games together or watching a movie, I find I am most tranquil with the ones I love. Inner tranquility is a choice as stated but is one that will benefit us in the long run. Without inner tranquility we are all disturbed. YYD
I feel this right is more than just simply tranquility that keeps our minds busy from our daily stresses. But that inner tranquility that ignites from our souls and then progresses into our hearts and then minds. We have to act righteously with one another and with ourselves so that that inner peace exists. Also, if there is any guilt that weighs heavy on our shoulders, recognize the pain, recognize the cause and effect concept and give ourselves the opportunity to forgive .. ourselves and those that may be involved. Let all your worries to the universe carry nothing but happiness and tranquility.
