The Right to Body Care

No human being shall be denied the ability to have
the best care of their physical body.
Although not possible in 2010, this is a right for the future.
This is not about rich or poor,
nor socialism or communism
nor insurance policy,
this is about loving and caring for the physical body
each human is born with,
as best as we can,
with the technologies and medicines and knowledge,
 of any given historical time.

Who's going to pay for this?
Let the top economic experts figure out the way, a newer, better system.
Maybe, economists could try "creative sharing" of their inventive thinking
or the "Socratic Method" of answering to arrive at a truth.

And, the words could be changed--- let health care become 'body care'---
as we move from cure to prevention.

This is definitely very critical in my life. I am a health addict and I know that in order to live a good life, you have to live a healthy lifestyle. Thats all up to you, but having the right to take care of your body is essential to human life. In order to do so, health care plays a great role in this subject.

Living a healthy lifestyle is important for yourself and for your family. Although I do believe that Health Care Providers play some role in a person living a healthy live, it is ultimately your own person who has the control. Alcohol, drugs and smoking kill your body. Eating a healthy diet free of junk food and processed foods is your first defense. If people would be more concious of what they eat, there would be less health issues. LP

Health is one of the top priorities if not the top, in you life. Health isn't just going to the doctor every year to get a physical, but health is what you do to yourself every minute of the day, whether its deciding what to eat or contemplating doing a physical activity that could have a serious risk. I believe the body that we were born with is the best physical creation. I think in order to preserve its health we should not try and alter its appearance. Also having a balanced life will help maintain our health.

Our body is one of the very few things we can control. We determine our diet, exercise regimen, and hygiene habits. Unfortunately this is not always enough and professional healthcare is required. No person should be denied the right to care for what is the only thing they can truly own.

Creative sharing would be one of the best choices experts could rely on. We should all unite and bring all information about any cures or preventations to the table and help heal those that have a chance for survival. We all have the right to care for our physical body, but we need help in order to maintain that health. People should hide their greed and pull together and realize that it is not about the money or fame, it is about giving people hope about their lives and their bodies.

I think everyone in todays world has the right to healthcare and knowledge of medicine. The idea of creative sharing would strongly improve the ability to maintain a healthy body. As long as knowledge is shared and more questions are asked we will further reach the point where "health care becomes body care." The point where society is educated on the importance of maintaining a healthy and physical body. -v.p

Health care is body care. We are the only ones that control what we eat and drink. If we should exercise or not. We blame society but we are the only ones in control our body.

I believe in 2010 it was still possible to take care of your physical body. We all had a busier life in 2010 but everyone still managed to decide what they wanted to eat and be healthy. This is a choice.

Our body is our temple, and God only gave us one. Therefore, we should treat it with the ultimate respect. We need to ensure that we eat right and exercise. I understand that we all have a busy life but if we chose to have a salad instead of a burger this would be a start. If people wouldn't eat as much fast food and fry everything, their health would be in a better condition. I agree that medical care is very important, and it is unfortunate that many of us cannot afford it. We need to not only take care of our body by nourishing it properly but seeing a physician to guarantee that everything is running smoothly.

Health is a large word. It embraces not the body only, but the mind and spirit as well;... and not today's pain or pleasure alone, but the whole being and outlook of a man.

The body we have is the only vehicle you have been given for this ride called life. Each and every person has a different view on what is the right way to care of your physical body. You are right it is not about rich or poor, socialism or communism. It is about how important your body is to you. As my mother always said “you can make your body a temple or an amusement park, you choose". We can either treat our body like gold or dirt. To care for your physical body shoes the respect you have for yourself.

The right to the care of the body should be a prerogative that every human holds. The knowledge that our country holds additionally united with the rest of the worlds' greatest minds, it is not an imaginable task that cannot be held. Yes, our government along with every other nation should figure out what better ways to prevent diseases and conditions instead of just trying to figure out cures.

To have the right of to take care of physical body is a choice. To take care of ones body it depends on how your self esteem is. If a person who works daily has an overload of work and has a buy life, most likely, take care of the physical body is not going to happen. On the other hand, if a person highly cares about them self and is physically and emotionally unstressful this person my take more time in taking care of themselve. EA

Living a healthy life is as important as humans needing water and food. Yet many people sometimes take being healthy overboard and too much of something healthy isnt healthy any more. Yet also many people dont know what it really means to be healthy. Everyone has the right to care for their body how they think it is correct.

I believe everyone should have the right to care for their body regardless of their economic or social status. The fact that people with insurance generally get better treatment than those who do not is ridiculous. We're all human. We may all be different, but we all have one body. We should work together to care for it.

For the most part, living healthy is a choice. In this country, the only thing the top financial experts and insurance company CEO's are concerned with is how they can keep those FAT checks coming in. Their way of thinking also affects the smaller poorer countries that can barely provide the minimum for the sick population.

To be healthy it is important to every bodies life, but it is important to remark that some times most people stop taking care of their bodies because of the lack of time, for example, they go to the doctor but do not try to do exercises to be in shape. Is important to find some time to take care of us.

People should take care of their bodies, internally and externally. In addition, having excellent healthcare should be available to everyone even if they are not able to afford it.

Why not care about your body? The body is your soul's home. caring about your body isn't only to look good or attractive it is also to stay healthy. to take care of your body is not a matter of being able to afford it, it is a matter of just making the right decisions. one of the most important things that one can do to care about your body is to watch what you eat. So they say "you are what you eat" Sometimes it is even cheaper to eat healthy rather than eating out and eating junk. it is nice to eat junk food but it is nicer to live longer. GIL RO

To take care of our body is not only a right but an obligation we have to ourselves. If we don’t take care of our own body, nobody will do it for us. This is a born with right which should never be taken for granted. Everyone should have the right and opportunity to take care of their body, however there are places where food is limited at an early age, depriving kids from the nutrients needed to grow a healthy body. We here have the opportunity and the freedom to take care of our bodies, lets do it the right way. Healthy eating habits and exercise should be part of our daily life. GS

In some third world countries, doctors have started their own insurance program for the rural poor to cover costs of catastrophic illness. The participants pay small fees into a health care pool in the event they may need surgery or hospitalization. This type of program can be expanded and improved over time.

Our bodies are simply that, ourselves...the one thing we take care of everyday, sometimes obliviously. I believe we have the right to construct our eating diets based on our current health and body figure as well as our desired health and body figure. We also have right to seek professionals when our bodies malfunction. The right to care of physical body is a right we all exercise everyday.

We need to care for our physical body. I agree, it should not be about money. Sometimes all the money in the world can not buy us perfect health. We need to continuously take care of ourselves. The government should find a way to make physical care possible for everyone.

Taking care of ourselves physically is a great opportunity to feel better about are ourselves , live longer happier and healthier lives. No one should ever be denied the ability to have the best care of their physical bodies. HOWEVER, when the best physical body is an obession of the person you have to look deeper there is sadness and lots of insecurities usually. Anything in extreme is bad.

Taking care of your body is crucial for every area of your life. You have to love yourself inside and out and want it! You have to sacrifice and pay a price. As we like to say "No Pain, No Gain". Many complain they are not happy with their bodies but they do not put the necessary work to make it happen. Society wants a "magic pill" or an "I Dream Of Jeannie-headsnap-poof fat be gone" --- not going to happen. -- KB

The idea of prevention rather than cure is great. I believe we all should learn how to take care of ourselves before resulting in a cure to keep us from dying. It's better to take care of yourself and preventing any sickness or disease, than having to deal with the process of healing later.

I don't think body care has anything to do with the government or any type of health care proposal. This idea is completely place on the individual. Love for yourselves shows in your appearance. Taking care of the body also helps keep away most sicknesses.

This is a right that should be overlooked to be implemented in the future. No human being should be denied and shouldn’t be about money, but about physical health.
