The Right to Respect and Dignity
means that new ways of behavior propel our lives,
so maybe, new words need to enter our conversations.
so maybe, new words need to enter our conversations.
I use poetic license to make a new word: respectivity.
'Respectivity' is respect for others: to reflect respect.
Respectivity leads to Connectivity,
and Connectivity leads to Coexistence,
And then there is the Latin dignitas.
Again, I use poetic license to extend this word's meaning to signify
the act of showing dignity towards the other: dignitas.
This new word allows differentiation from "dignity," because when surveyed,
people often think of dignity as mostly self-dignity.
New words fulfill new purposes in a changing world.

With respectivity and dignitas,
(: we can create a happier world. :)

Ignorance is the foundation for intolerance.

Existential life promotes interaction. Interaction can either strengthen connectivity or cause it to distance interactions. History has already set a deeply woven conception of respect and it has perpetuated throughout generations regardless of conscious awareness that one is perpetuating inequality, racism, and oppression.
To live amongst others is to coexist. To coexist with dignity means that there should be an established foundation of respect; however so, this is not the case and never was. Society superficially shows dignity toward others. And judges and judges and judges. Greed, corruption, envy, ego and money drive society. Smiles are the medium, and no one is truly happy.

The world may apparently change faster than ever, but humanity remains the same and will be the same until the end of times as history has proven; for good or bad, the basics of wrong and right do not change with the times. An assassin is an assassin here and anywhere as he or she was in the past and will be considered one in the future. It is the same with basic rights as respect and dignity. Maybe there exist millions of people around the world, who, unfortunately, do not have these rights. However, this fact does not diminish the value of respect and dignity and neither does it imply that they need to be renamed. It is not about introducing new words into normal conversation; it is about acting the values that these two words symbolize in order to make society rise to the level of tolerance and respect that it needs, without distinctions of any kind for everyone.

Dignity and respect are big words for humanity to carry on their shoulders. We try hard to make it right and others come and make it wrong. History really does not change, old issues die, new ones arrive and it is a cycle that goes back to zero and starts to run again. History repeats itself over an over again. The day we can respect others for who they are might it will be doomsday the day we realize we were not alone all this time. There are superior creatures out there. NDF
Respect and dignity are many of the words that people take for granted on a daily basis. I decided to create the word hyperesnity out of creativity and fun. Therefore, I believe that if every human would have a little bit more of hyperesnity towards each other, we would achieve more happiness and peace every day.
Note:
Hyperesnity comes from the prefix: hyper- (more than, beyond, etc…)
es from Respect, and nity from dignity.

Acceptism- a practice, of accepting people for who they are. Another new word to bring the world more happiness. It will work hand and hand with restoring dignity amongst communities who are struggling to find it.-JLH
When I Googled the word dignity, I got the definition: state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect. It confused me a bit because when I first meet someone, I do not know if they are worthy of my respect, but they can earn it in one second just by doing the right thing. At the moment that they are born they have dignity and this isn't even something that needs to be shown to me, they are born with it. Every single person has the right to respect and dignity regardless of who they are. The one thing that I do strongly believe is that people have choices to make and if the choice you make is one that will lesson your respect or dignity, you take away that right from yourself.

With every new generation new words are born. Some words are creative, basic and some do ignite disgust from the prior generation. However, words once generated as a product of its environment in slang formation or in poetic formation, are born to induce a new way of thinking, in some cases create negativity or shed optimism where there might not be any. If any new word should be summoned to pronounce respect and dignity it should be resdignify. The meaning equates to a series of events which lead one to a final level of ultimate honor. Almost like receiving a medal earned by one’s level of respect and dignity to themselves and others. MMSEAWOLF
I believe respect is a word that is a part of the word dignity. Meaning that for someone to be dignified that person needs to be respectful, not only to others but also himself. In today’s society, dignity is very scarce because of the lack of respect some people have for each other or themselves. IC
We the people have the power to invent new words. We speak making up words sometimes and we're understood. This is why the dictionary continues to grow unlimitedly. C.M.C.
With respect and dignity should come consideration. One can't express these qualities for everyone, if we can't try to be compassionate to another. Thats why I strongly believe all individuals should practice these qualities first among themselves. ~vm
"Respect & Dignity", these are very powerful words, that humanity must embrace across all charitable acts to humanity and one's welfare. When one speaks with these tones, it is like no other feeling. A feel good expression that propels us to speak well of other's in a manner that being worthy of deference, or consideration. I believe when you regard other's in a respected and dignified manner, it gives one a self esteem honor of well being. If only humanity would always propel these logistics, the world would be such a content and considerate place to be. So, my thoughts to all, show a little respect and dignity in everything you do, and you shall notice a feeling of fulfillment, maybe where there once was none. AF
Respect And Dignity are two very powerful words. Without respect for yourself, you are worthless and have no dignity. When the world learns how to respect itself and one another we have acomplished , something very close to perfection. - CA
We live in a world where respect and dignity has diminished. Respectivity should be practiced by everyone. Something that we can improve is our language. For example, while walking down the street all you hear is curse words. People do not realize how their disregard for everyone around them is very disrespectful. I agree that our exsistance depends on reflecting respect to one another. *KPG*
When you respect yourself you naturally respect others. I believe that what our world lacks for oneself is dignity. We look at ourselves in a mirror each day and see no self worth. Therefore we project what we receive within ourselves. Look in the mirror and see something valuable, then maybe things will start to change for the better. -B.A
With the passage of time, the global lexicon will inevitably expand. The alteration and creation of words today, whether it be to describe our ever changing world or as a joke, may one day become more than the simple idea of an individual.
Dignity is a strong word that when thought about brings different emotions and thoughts. For me dignity should be a very important quality for all of us to practice. We should all practice respecting ourselves and others, and letting others know that you want to earn their respect. YB
It is very important to respect people. When you give respect you get respect. The world lacks alot of respect today and its sad to see this happening.S.A.
Is your dignity worth what you can loose over it? In certain situations people need to put their guard down and accept something rather than rebel. -VK
What would this world be without dignity or self respect, self respect for life, respect for other human beings, I think that with respect comes dignity, but then again in my humble opinion dignity is something that we acquired throughout our years. This world would be a little better if we as human had respect for others, and for a lot of things that makes this world suitable to live after all we are all one race.
We live in a society where dignity and respect are taken for granted. In order to be respected you must accept and respect others, as well as respecting yourself. And thats what dignity is. People around us are never going to stop changing and they will come in all different sizes and colors, its up to us as a society to keep the dignity and respect for eachother. AT
Respect should be an attribute that every human being should possess. When you deliver respect the same is given in return. However, in many cases the respect is not given to receive. I feel that everyone should show respect to others because, it gives the recipient a sense of self worth and happiness. Not to mention, it also shows others the morals and values you carry as a person. AA

What an excellent idea it is to make new words. Some words have no meaning any more. People use certain words like love, respect, and support but have a totally different meaning than what is was first meant for. Creating new words creates new true meanings that can help the world. JLS
In the world of today many new words are popping up from left to right. Even though new words can shine a light on old words, I prefer words to stay the way they are.R.R
When I think about respect and dignity I also think about ethics. If one is to be ethical they must possess respect and dignity. Creating new words like respectivity and dignitas can go a long way in spreading the message.

Respect and dignity go hand in hand .....if you don't have them you won't go far in life. MB
Many people confuse dignity with respect. Respect is something that you gain while dignity is something that we are born with. If a man does wrong it does not mean that we shall then see him as less human. Punishment is an option but violating the dignity of others isn't.

Well, I think that it is pretty cool to have or to use new words as long as it is not slang.
Especially now that we have age a new generation, in a way, they are going to make their
Own words up anyway. Personally I say, new words? Why not?

For me, Dignity is self-respect is like when we are in a relationship and our partner don’t treats us right, we have to have dignity and move from that that explosive relation.(respect for our-self)-G.S.
Respect and dignity for others is important if we wish to live together on Earth and find some peace. The world right now is in chaos because we can not respect and give dignity to each other. We are taught this tradition or that religion and then turn around and hate each other and do terrible things to each other. New words and new ideas are what are needed to better ourselves and the planet. -IMF-
Unfortunately Liberalism is sometimes confused with lack of respect. Some behaviors are accepted even when they do not feel right just because we have the right to do whatever they want even if it means disrespecting someone. People should think of their actions before falling into ridiculous and absurd. NDF
Respect and dignity both are very alike. They are both principles that we humans should use and act about in our everyday life. It all starts by respecting your self, then eventually respecting others.RG
Sometimes we are adamant and are so caught up with what we think is right that we disrepect others and their beliefs.SAM
Respect cannot be granted. In the other hand, you can not ask for respect. Respect is something that you build with your own acts, and it come by itself. If you are not respected, it is your fault. MCC
