The Right to Expression....Life Metamorphosis

In a world where we live longer
and have more options,
a human being shall have the right to change,
to renew themselves,
such as in aspects of personality, life mission, or belief system.

A life within a life.
A second life within one long life.

The caterpillar with legs becomes the butterfly with wings.

This is the Right to Metamorphosis.

I agree with this right. Not in a literal sense where we should have wings attached to our bodies but in a symbolic sense. For example in the case of a criminal, they have the right to change their life around. It also works for everyday people for example maybe a doctor that would like to become a lawyer. I think that we have every right to change the way our lives play out.

I agree as well. Unlike a tadpole that morphs into a frog, humans don’t morph. But we do have the chance to “morph” our lives at any point in time. Like The Lady Philosopher said above, “a second life within one long life” except anybody is capable of having several different lives in one very long life. C.M.A

This is a right that everyone should agree to. In the simple aspect of metamorphosis it basically means change. I believe that all people deserve the right to change for the better. Even if it is a physical alteration or a personality characteristic that makes them feel better about themselves. We all should show progress over time and try to perfect every essence that is us.

I agree with this right. Everyone deserves a second chance. Sometimes people are born into a life that just isn't for them and I believe that they should have the right to be able to turn it around. SJB

So many dream of changing the world, but often overlook the simple power that can come from changing themselves. The ability to look beyond one's own horizons and venture forth into that unknown is a gift that is uniquely human. Only through this process can one hope to achieve true self-realization. Without the willingness to undergo genuine personal metamorphosis, this is fundamentally impossible.

Everyone changes and goes through life trying to discover themselves. No matter if you are 80 years of age, you will still learn new things about yourself. ----Lauren Franco

I agree with the right to metamorphosis. This right simply grants us the possibility to change as we experience the world around us and learn who we are as we become more matured and wiser throughout the years. I believe we should be free to re-invent ourselves as many times as we want with the purpose to become a better person. D.C.R.

I agree with the right to metamorphosis. It is a way of life and evolution. take the human race for instance, we evolve from sperm, to a baby, to a child, a horrible teenager (just kidding), to young adults, to middle aged adults, then to grandparents. Thus ending the cycle of life. Metamorphosis is an evolution of the species.

“A life within a life. A second life within one long life” I agreed to the right of metamorphosis. As we grow up we realized the mistakes we have made and that is when we want to change and when we ask for second changes. (LCL)

If a person decides to change certain aspects of their life it is their right to do so. Though they may face ridicule from other people in the process it is only through this personal metamorphosis that a person can be completely fulfilled in their life. - K.A.S

One of my favorite quotes is, "Every new day is another chance to change your life." I can't remember who stated that but when I read that quote for the first time, it made me realize so much. I completely agree with the right to metamorphosis. We are constantly changing. Every single day brings a new possibility. Who we are today can change from who we want to be tomorrow.

I agree with the right to change, and I also agree with N.Av that everyday is another chance to chage your life. People should be able to change whatever that they dont like about themselves until feeling comfortable with who they are. However, the past is something that it could never be changed, so think before you act, and always change to better.

Interesting blog posting. I've always vouched more towards this word than towards evolution. Plainly because, it states that we morph or develope as a whole, as oppose to changing adbruptly, and vaugley from one species to the next. I feel that all should use the endowment, power, and essence to morph gracefully. from childhood to manhood.

Everyone has the right to control their own life. They don't have to be stuck with the life people decide for them. If it makes them a better person and they feel happier with it then by all means change is good.

I have to agree with this right by default, seeing as we all change in some aspect or another at some point. Some things are easier to change than others, but if change is what we want, we have the right to have it.

For millions of years human beings have been evolving and will continue to change. We use to think the world was flat and we changed our view of the world Change is uncontrollable. Our life lessons are what cause to change our perspective in life, personality, and life mission or belief system.

This right is very important and often overlooked. It is easy to do the bare minimum and coast through life, but for a lot of people it is not at all fulfilling. Most individuals are afraid of a major change, a metamorphosis, that can transcend them past their personal boundaries. But embracing metamorphosis opens a door to endless possibilities. What if what you want today is not what you want in five years. Do you continue on with the mundane, or do you decide to change? I chose to fully embrace the right to metamorphosis every chance I get.

Can people really change? The sad truth is that most of the time most people never really change. We have become so materialistic to the point where a new hairstyle or a new car is considered change. Therefore we become frustrated with our lives because they become so repetitive. So before we begin our journey of metamorphosis I believe it is important to let go of the material aspects in life and focus on the real important things in life.

You can be able to change your style, way of living, your diet, your body, but you can't change your personality. Once a person has established their personality its stays with them for the rest of their life, so if you are a selfish person that's what you gonna be the rest of yourlife even if you do what you can consider unselfish things you'll be doing it for your selfish self-fullfillment. People can change what they are but not who they are.

We are always ever changing. Change is inevitable. The experiences we face, and the tribulations we endure shape us unconsciously. Who I was at the age of 15, is not the same person I am at the age of 19. Change is ultimately for the better.

We all go through stages in our lives were we experience metamorphosis with our beliefs, attitudes, and our souls. People sometimes have a belief of the type of person you are or should be, but everyone should have the right to be who they want to be. For life to have purpose you constantly have to be growing and that will only happen when you embrace change.

Every human should have the tight to metamorphosis. Metamorphosis is the complete change in appearance, character or circumstance. Society has an impact on our character and it usually influences us to become someone we are not. If we make mistakes in life and are unhappy with the outcome, we should have the ability to makes changes without being labeled. This right will allow us to erase the past and start fresh.

We all have the right to metamorphosis because without it, we wouldn't be able to improve our image, lifestyles, character. Sometimes in life, we face obstacles in where we have to change in order to not only pass by the obstacle but better yet, overcome it. Etel

It is accepted for high school and college students to change their major or life goals, but I think everyone should be allowed to have a period of metamorphosis no matter what their age. So many adults live trapped inside the monotony of everyday life when they could break free and morph into a better version of themselves! I agree with the right to metamorphosis.

I agree with the right to metamorphosis. I have seen "troubled youth" reform from their old ways into more civilized beings. Many of us are unhappy with who we are, ignoring the fact that we are the only ones with the right to renew ourselves into who we want to be. In some of us this type of change occurs during puberty, in others it takes some sort of life altering event. All in all we are the ones with the right to metamorphosis.-D.C.

The right to metamorphosis was a beautiful and real right to discover. Life is one if we live long enough to allow changes in ours we should allow those changes. We may found ourselves stuck in situations which solution may demand a complete metamorphosis. Let's enjoy the right to metamorphosis! A.L.

Just as there are four seasons on earth, more visibly in the northern states, is there also four seasons in the life of a human being. With these different seasons, comes inevitable change. Changes in the physical, phychological (emotional), and in the spiritual. It is how we manage these changes affected by the breezes, storms, lightning, warmth, sleet or snow of life, that develop and cultivate us. There is a certain beauty in the metamorphosis of a person. This change in form from one stage to the next in the life of a person is a continuous process.

I agree with the right to metamorphosis. We all go through stages in our lives and our experiences trigger those changes. One can change mentally, physically and spiritually. Some people spend a lot of money to change their physical look such as breast implants, the color of their hair and surgery to lose weight. Others change on the inside by enhancing their intelligence by engaging in fields of study to get a new career or to guide others spiritually. By: L.J.B.R.

Everyone can change that is a fact but the question will be if every single person wants to change. Some people really like how they live and why would they want to change for something different or for something that would trouble them. I think that this right is for those people that know they are doing or have done something awful or for those who have encountered in a religious path. I agree with the right to metamorphosis. O.V.

Everyone changes in some way or another and some more than others. But, no matter how old we are either 2 or 92, we are changing, little things that others or even ourselves might not even notice. This all happens as we get older and experience and journey through life itself.

I agree, everyone has the right to change, some take the opportunity and others stay the same, living in a "still life". Humans undergo many changes from the smallest thing as a new haircut, to the biggest of changes. Its a way of life.

Regardless of it being a right or not all sorts of people meet changes throughout their lives some more than others. Its not about a right but mostly about a need to change in certain areas for certain particular reasons depending on the person. If this right were to ever be taken from the people then this world will fall to routine regularity between every single person and the world would be a dead world with no life. - J.J.V

I agree with this post, everybody has the right to go through "metamorphosis", not in the literal way, but the spiritual way. Everybody has to have the change to evolve into something better and stronger, to eventually become the best they could be.

Back in highschool I was assigned to read a book called "50 essays" and one of the stories addressed the right of Metamorphosis. Also, Franz Kafka, the author, wrote a book "Metamorphosis" which is very intriguing. ( just incase anyone needs help and has this topic)

When we come across death in life, we come across the understanding of metamorphosis. Everyone should be given the right of change. But in reality, working within ourselves daily helps us reach to that "high on life" feeling and it's as closest to metamorphosis as we can get.

I agree with the right to metamorphosis. This way people who want to start anew or revert to a different religion can become someone new. This allows the person to feel at ease with themselves and with their lifestyle that they choose to live with or live for.
